About iLead Youth Leadership Program
The iLead Youth Leadership Program by Africentric Arts is a culturally grounded initiative that supports young people in building confidence, creativity, and leadership skills. Through a blend of wellness, arts, music, dance, and entrepreneurship, the program creates a space where youth can explore their identity, develop practical skills, and grow into purpose driven leaders. Designed to nurture the whole individual, iLead empowers young people to connect with their community, express themselves, and create meaningful impact in their lives and beyond.

A space to pause, connect, and take care of your well being. Through African drumming, poetry, yoga, book club sessions, and open conversations, participants build meaningful connections while strengthening their mental and emotional wellness.

Explore music as expression and identity. Participants learn to play instruments, grow as musicians, and perform for real audiences, supported by mentorship and a space that celebrates music as a cultural foundation.

Move, connect, and express yourself in a welcoming environment. Whether you are new to dance or experienced, participants enjoy high energy sessions inspired by Afrobeats, Amapiano, Modern dance, and more.

A creative space to explore visual storytelling through art and design. Participants develop their creativity while learning how to express ideas through different artistic forms.
