We do our best to support children with special needs and make camp activities as accessible as possible.
We can provide wheelchair accessibility, one-on-one support, or other accommodations where feasible.
To help us plan effectively, please inform us at registration about any needs your child may have. This ensures our staff and volunteers can prepare and provide the best possible experience.
Please note that, as a small volunteer-run camp, some accommodations may be limited, and certain activities may not be suitable for all children.
-
Parents are responsible for the daily pickup and drop-off of their children.
For families in Edmonton and surrounding areas, we can offer optional pickup and drop-off for $10 per child, with pickup locations shared in advance.
This service is limited and subject to availability, so we recommend planning transportation ahead to ensure your child arrives and leaves safely.
Daily Sign-In and Sign-Out: All children must be signed in upon arrival and signed out at departure. Only individuals authorized in writing by the parent or guardian may pick up a child. Staff will verify identification before releasing any child.
These procedures are in place to ensure the safety and security of all participants and comply with legal duty-of-care obligations.
-
Camp ends at 3:00 PM; pickup by 3:15 PM. Late at drop-off? Call ahead - staff will wait 5–15 mins, then $1/min applies. Extended supervision until 5:00 PM is available for $20/hr (pre-arranged). No programming outside camp hours.

Weather-appropriate clothing, including jackets or layers for cooler days
Close-toed outdoor shoes for safety during active games and outdoor adventures
Hats and sunscreen for sun protection
Bug spray for outside nature trips
All items should be clearly labeled with your child’s name.
2. We also encourage children to bring a positive attitude, curiosity, and readiness to participate.
Optional items:
Small backpack to carry personal items
Extra set of clothes in case of messy activities
Rain gear for outdoor play on wet days
-
A Lost and Found box will be available at the camp for any misplaced items.
We encourage parents and children to label all belongings clearly. Ultimately, each child is responsible for their personal items, so please check the Lost and Found regularly and remind your child to keep track of their things.

Our staff and volunteers are trained to support and supervise all participants and we make every effort to maintain a safe and positive environment. While we strive for the highest standards of care, challenges may arise.
If a concern occurs including behavior, safety, or health-related matters staff will respond promptly and appropriately. Parents will be contacted immediately if the situation requires their attention.
