As our Tri-Community continues to grow and diversify, we pause to honor and recognize the contributions, achievements, and resilience of Black Canadians and to celebrate the richness they bring to our community. More Black families and individuals are calling Stony Plain, Spruce Grove, and Parkland County home, and this is a special opportunity for everyone to come together, connect, and experience this vibrant culture right here in our small rural communities.

Join us for Black History Month Candlelight Stories, an evening of Afrocentric storytelling through music, cultural drumming and dance, poetry, and fashion, featuring special guests and live performances. This event is about celebrating cultural pride, uplifting Black voices, and building community togetherness, a night to honor the past, celebrate the present, and inspire the future.
